Local Events
This toolkit has been created to increase the local visibility of 100th anniversary events throughout the Nation's Capital Council. Help everyone in our community celebrate Girl Scouting's 100th birthday.

We encourage Association Chairs and Service Unit Managers to use this toolkit to promote public events (open to non-Girl Scouts) to share Girl Scouting with the public. The toolkit contains balloons, patches, parade banners, a traveling history exhibit and use of the Google map and Girl Scout logo.  Click on the links below to learn more about each item.  If you have any questions about the toolkit, contact your local Girl Scout Office. After your event, send us your pictures, and tell us how it went!
